We hope Lore of the Heart reminds you that it is always good to speak your truths in whatever words you can muster, especially with the power of myth and storytelling to encourage you to charge bravely ahead. While relationships take work and there isn’t permanent happiness from one conversation, there can be new beginnings from finding common ground.

The core mechanic of our game is morale. We wanted it to be as representative of initiating and having a dialogue as possible. We believe that moments of vulnerability take courage and therefore use up more morale. Sometimes you are rewarded for being vulnerable and other times you are not. The ending you receive depends on your morale at the end of the story.

The current version of the game (as of 10/26/23) has a lot of kinks to work out for balancing the morale mechanic.
